| Penis size...
does it matter?
This question is asked over and over again. Countless
jokes are made about the topic and people spend lots
of time and money trying to make their penis the "right"size,
usually meaning bigger. The bottom line is this: it
matters to some people and not to others. Some people
prefer their male partners to have large penises and
some prefer small. Mostly it matters as some cultural
concept that men should have big penises. The average
penis size according to the Kinsey Sex Institute is
6 inches. Penises can range from one inch to over nine,
but most fall between the five and seven mark. The
fact is that you have the penis size you have and nothing,
despite wide ranging claims, is going to change that
fact. So, this is a self esteem issue more than anything.
Your personal pleasure during sex probably won't vary
too much no matter what size penis you have. If your
partner is dissatisfied with your penis size, you may
want to think about getting a new partner. Of course
intercourse, vaginal or anal, is not the only kind
of sex people have. You might try introducing sex toys
to enliven a complaining mate. Occasionally men complain
that their penis is too large and that it hurts their
partner. Really the same principles apply: perhaps
your partner isn't a good sexual match for you, perhaps
you can try other sexual techniques or perhaps extra
lube. Men need to find ways to appreciate whatever
size penis they have and to find sexual partners who
will appreciate it as well. |
